Your Day by Day Journey
Day 1 | Welcome to Rome
Arrival transfer included
Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Begin exploring with an included hop-on hop-off open-top bus ticket, valid for one day during operating hours. Return to your hotel independently. Overnight in Rome.
Day 2 | Rome to Assisi, Siena and Florence
Meals: Breakfast and dinner
Depart at 7:15 a.m. by deluxe coach for Assisi. Enjoy leisure time and visit the Basilica of St. Francis, with time for lunch at your own expense. Continue to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before traveling to Florence. Dinner and overnight in Florence.
Day 3 | Discover Florence
Meals: Breakfast and lunch*
Enjoy a guided exploration of Florence, featuring the Duomo, Campanile tower, Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and Basilica of Santa Croce. Savor lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. An optional afternoon excursion to Pisa is available at additional cost. Overnight in Florence.
Day 4 | Florence to Bologna and Venice
Meals: Breakfast; Bologna lunch inclusion to be confirmed*
After breakfast, travel to Bologna for a walking tour featuring Piazza Malpighi, Piazza del Nettuno, Piazza Maggiore and the Basilica of San Petronio. Enjoy leisure time and the opportunity for a street food lunch before continuing to Venice Mestre for your overnight stay.

Day 5 | Experience Venice
Meals: Breakfast and light lunch
Transfer to Piazza San Marco for a guided walking tour featuring the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a complimentary spritz or prosecco with cicchetti, Venice’s traditional small bites, for a light lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Venice Mestre.
Day 6 | Venice to Montepulciano and Rome
Meals: Breakfast and lunch
Travel through Tuscany’s Val di Chiana to Montepulciano. Enjoy panoramic views and a wine tasting, followed by lunch in a typical restaurant. Continue to Rome, arriving in the evening. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7 | Vatican Treasures and Rome
Meals: Breakfast
Visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Square on a morning guided tour with skip-the-line access. Entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included. Enjoy free time for the rest of the day. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8 | Depart Rome
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure, carrying memories of Italy’s cities, countryside and cultural heritage.
Package Inclusions and Booking Notes
Airfare at the advertised starting price, subject to confirmed flight arrangements; 7 hotel nights; arrival and departure airport transfers; scheduled coach travel, Tour Director and guided sightseeing; headsets; the Rome hop-on hop-off ticket; and meals and experiences specified above. A guided sunset walk through Rome’s city centre is also listed in the package highlights; its day and time will be confirmed.
Optional excursions, meals not specified and other unlisted services are not included. Sightseeing order and access may change because of local operating conditions or religious ceremonies. Comfortable walking shoes and modest attire are recommended for religious sites.
Cancellation Policy
90 days or more prior to departure:
A 75% refund of the total amount paid will be issued. Please note: the cost of airfare is nonrefundable once ticketed.
45 days or less prior to departure:
A 40% refund of the land-only portion of your payment will be issued. Airfare is non-refundable after 24 hours, in accordance with airline regulations.
30 days or less prior to departure:
No refund will be issued.
